The Willingen Wildlife and Leisure Park is located directly on Ettelsberg mountain and offers many attractions for the whole family in addition to its 250 animals. Particularly popular are the daily bird of prey shows, accompanied by an educational lecture from a professional falconer. The youngest visitors can let off steam in the Fairy Tale Forest and Dinoland.

A visit to the Christine Slate Mine offers insight into the cantilevered chamber construction and is an impressive experience for every visitor. Under expert guidance, you will be led through the tunnel at a constant 8 degrees Celsius and learn everything about slate mining, fossils, and minerals.
